Revised Certified Practitioner Membership Reinstatement Policy Approved by the RPA Board October 13, 2010

In July 2010 the RPA Board approved discontinuing the mandatory use of RR Seminars to fulfill CEU requirements.

Lapsed membership continues to be defined as membership that has not been paid by the renewal date. Until they are reinstated, Certified Practitioners do not have their privileges of membership which includes, but is not limited to the following:

·        They are no longer listed as Certified Practitioners on the RPA website.

·        They can no longer use the RRI and the RPA logos and advertise themselves as active Certified Practitioners.

·        They can no longer participate in RPA surveys and voting.

If the Lapsed Certified Practitioner pays their dues within a year, they resume all privileges of membership with no reinstatement fee.

The Revised Membership Reinstatement Policy

·        Lapsed for not more than two years: pay a $75 reinstatement fee and $150 in dues in order to rejoin and take 16 CEUs on the RPA approved CEU list within a year to retain membership.

·        Lapsed between two and four years: pay a $125 reinstatement fee and $150 in dues, and take 16 hours in Practitioner Skills Development before they can rejoin.

·        Lapsed for five or more years: pay a $125 reinstatement fee and $150 in dues, and be recommended for certification reinstatement by an RPA approved Designated Observer. The Certified Practitioner’s books must be no older than the 2002 copyright edition.
